Appliance:
Using electric heating and overcharge trigger to evaluate whether the battery has thermal runaway diffusion.
It shall be determined on the following conditions:
a) The test object generates voltage drop;
b) The temperature of the monitoring point reaches the protection temperature of the battery;
c) Temperature rise rate of the monitoring point >71℃/s;
d) When a)+c) or b)+c) occurs, it is determined that the battery cell has thermal runaway;
e) When the battery cell adjacent to the trigger object has thermal runaway, it is determined that the battery module has thermal runaway diffusion; If a fire or explosion occurs during or within 1 hour after the thermal runaway is triggered, the test shall be terminated and it shall be determined that the thermal runaway diffusion of the battery module has occurred.
